  1. What is your favorite Olympic moment of all time? Let us know in the comments below and it might be featured in the next #ThrowbackThursday!

  2. Look for the documentary "Over the limit". We all know that elite athletes face a huge pressure through their careers, but you really don't realise how much until you follow closely what they have to do. Margarita had so much going in her life at the time of the Olympics. It's incredibly satisfying to see that she acheived gold.

  3. It’s sad when they don’t get the points they deserve They do amazing and still get half of what they deserve. But beautiful 💙😣

  4. 7:45 as a dancer, do these turns scare anybody else either? Theyre turning on a flat foot! It is beautiful though…

  5. Russians always lead in sports with artistic choreography – rhythmic gymnastic, synchronized swimming, ice skating, ballet, etc.
I see that 10 out of 12 participants are Slavic, and the Korean girl has a Russian coach. I don't know who is the Spanish girl's coach.
    Interesting.

  6. У Екатерины есть то что в залах с тренерами не нарабатывается,очень выразительная,каждое движение по особому подчеркнуто,настоящее искуство,остальные девченки тоже молодцы!

  7. yes. I started watching this one a couple days ago. this is the ultimate girl power videos. And it really resonates with young girls, who can see how hardcore girls can be with the necessary dedication.

  8. If you enjoyed this can I strongly recommend watching a BBC documentary Storyville: Olympic Dreams of Russian Gold – Over the Limit. It is available on BBC I-Player. Its a Fly on the Wall documentary about the build up to this competition. It has been described as the"Black Swan" of gymnastics. It is Fantastic, Sad , eve Heartbraking. It will also make you furious. It is BRILLIANT

  9. If other girls act like the champion, they must only have 17-18 points. She(Mamun) is only "upper middle class" and "no mistakes", similar to that Korean girl!
    如果別的女生像那個冠軍這樣的動作,一定只有 17~18分,她只是「中上等級」和「沒有失誤」而已,跟韓國女孩差不多!

  10. 1:28:37 Yana
This caused her from gold to silver…pity, she had all three highest scores leads in ball, ribbon, and hoop
1:29:38 very tiny margin. Very small mistake. But hey, its the Olympics.

  11. Why can't regular gymnasts do turns like Halkina does at 13:35 – 13:40? It seems regular gymnasts have such trouble with turns and these girls make it look so easy!

  12. That Ukrainian gymnast has a very strange body, like all wrong proportion. And her costumes seems over the top, not pretty at all, a bit tarty.
