  1. Idk why all the hate for 2.0 engine on the internet…like most of you guys can afford this car? I'd be very satisfied on 520d for the money… it's much better and looks better and newer than Audi A6

  2. Not fast? I have a hyundai sonata nf crdi 143hp, 1600kg and i feel i race when i pull the accelerator (even i can't reach more than 210km/h)…i can't imagine with 190hp…

  3. Ik heb sinds een maand een 520d 190pk en ik vond het niet echt een geslaagde combinatie versnellingsbak/vermogen in de comfortstand. De wagen reageerde traag op het gaspedaal en leek steeds in te hoge versnelling te rijden wat nogal een irritant gebrom gaf. Gevolg gaspedaal dieper indrukken zodat er een versnelling te laag werd ingeschakeld wat nog rumoeriger was. Als oplossing de wagen in sportstand zetten gaf ook niet echt een goed resultaat want de respons op het gaspedaal was nu goed maar de auto bleef steeds in lagere versnelling rijden met hoger verbruik en meer rumoer tot gevolg. Sinds deze week de oplossing gevonden: sportstand aanpassen: motor/gaspedaal op sport en versnellingsbak op comfort in sportstand. Vlotte respons op gaspedaal en blijft in hogere versnelling zitten: Heerlijk gebruik maken van het riante koppel en zeer Comfortabel en geruisloos rijden🤗🤗🤗

  4. I collected my 520d G30 M5 pack last saturday. Sophisto grey. I must say that I'm pleasantly surprised by it. It's not a race car of course, but it really is more than enough for normal use. It has large tires (275mm rear, 255 front), and it really does a good job. I'm not disappointed at all. I must say that I don't really feel a difference between comfort and sport in terms of suspension. But I really like the car a lot. I could drive it continuously.. No regrets so far. Of course, a 530d would be better in terms of performance, but I'm not willing to pay 10.000 EUR more. And taxes are higher too. And I drive +/- 40.000 kms a year, so…. fuel economy is important.

Wow I am surprised about your statement, I am now considering a BMW 5er touring, but i want xDrive, the 530d is 530d and I felt wrong about 520d… I was thinking that this engine should be there (not too powerful). But I think the point of view you said is pretty nice. Thank you for it! IF i pick up the 520d, I will just have problem with my friends, that are BMW fans (not fanboys :D). And they say that 20d does not belong there 😀 Thanks once again

  6. How much cost key with a screen? If you want to get one with used car?
    Tell me also, navigation screen inside, are they always the same size ”width” (I hate that in 5 series before, screen size)

  7. It is a great engine. I drive a new 120d xdrive and it is seriously fast until 200kph. For higher speeds the 6 cilinder engines are really better buys.

  8. Would have liked to see how does it behave while overtaking a truck on a regular road. That makes a difference as opposed to the 6 cylinder.

  9. 130 km/h on those small Dutch roads? I hope this guy gets his license revoked. The car is great btw.

  10. I wish I could afford BMW 520i.. but it costs 50,120 euro ( base model) and if you want,you can add a lot of options which costs a lot of money.. It would be cool to have helping driver apps and luxury package but at what price.. 13,000 euros. +/-. well I did something and I've managed to fit into 9,450 euros. in over all = 59,570 euros for a car. Why it has to be so expensive?

  11. if you can't afford the car you wan, than don't drive it. Wait 5-6 years and you'll find nearly new models for less than half and low kilometers.

  12. How does this 520d 4 cylinder (190 BHP/400 Nm torque) compare with the 530i which is a 4 cylinder but with much more power (252 BHP/350 Nm torque?) There was an interesting review in Australia between the 530i (4 cylinder) and the 530d (6 cylinder). The reviewer actually picked the 530i that felt more nimble and was more fun to drive! Can you compare the 520d (this car) and the 530i back-to-back. That will be really interesting – a battle of the 4's!
